I'm not clear on what you mean by fixed. Do you mean that you've gotten the image displayed in "Save for Web" to agree with the image as displayed in the Photoshop edit window? In that case, you've defeated the purpose of the "Save for Web" display! If you've profiled your system, in all likelihood the images will appear differently.

mine have been removed. i think that it was the huge difference between psd file and the preview in image ready (when saving as jpeg) apparently for them it was *very* different. but now they have fixed it so it looks 'the same' to them i.e. as close it can be considering the lossy format of jpeg.

I have the exact same problem, only my images get darker. (and the above fix didn't work) I work on my .psd file, and it looks great. I go to "save for web", and it is way too dark. This happens with jpegs, gifs, everything. Additionally, if I go to View-Proof Setup-Monitor RGB, it does the same thing (the .psd is too dark). If the proof setup is switched to Windows RGB (for example), it looks great. So I think the problem is my monitor settings. I ran the Adobe Gamma wizard in the control panel, but it doesn't make any difference. I don't know much about profiles, etc., so if anyone has any ideas, please let me know. thanks, Jodi
