Hi All,

I have recently completed a site for a client which is 1000% better then her original.[:D]

Old domain name points to the same location as the New domain name.

BUT, she recently called me in distress about the referrals that she not longer gets from her site. I explained that with a new domain name it would take a few months for it to be re-indexed across the web.

But there is a thing called Search Engine optimization that could help the process. I only know the basics

Her budget is limited >$1000 Is it possible? Anybody want in?

Definitely possible. If you send the url to marketing@mhacorp.com, put OUTFRONT in the subject line,I will review the site and tell you what I think. We can deal with the financial aspects later, but I charge based on canadian dollars converted to US, which can only be a good thing for your client.

What changes did you make to the site? Have all page names been changed? Are the old pages still indexed?

Be careful with the advice that you implement or things can go from bad to worse[:D]

This is an old thread but, for what it's worth, I believe you can do a
Redirect to Files or Directories via .htaccess

I used the process when I recreated a site at a new domain.
