Navigation bar does not publish correctly - 5/8/2004 8:42:30
Whenever, I update my site and publish it, my navigation bar, which is situated in my shared borders, doesn't publish properly. It appears correctly on some page, only has some of it's elements on other pages and some of the links don't work on the remaining pages:)

The only way I've beem able to get it to publish properly, is to delete the existing nav bar and create a complete new one which works fine until I update any part of my site, then I back to square one. It's also a pain having to keep creating a new nav bar:)

This has only been happening in the past week.

I'm using Frontpage 2002 and Windows XP Home.

Anyone know how to stop this and give me back my sanity:)

Yve

A question before any sought of solution. Did you use the insert>web component>bar based on navigation structure?

I remember having the same problem when I used shared borders, my solution create the navigation by hand (type in your links and hyperlink them, or if you want images, create them then hyperlink them.

I haven't had a problem since

Hope that might help.

Yes I do use the web component option. Your suggestion of creating my own navigation bar is excellent and I done it already.

Thank you so much:)

Hopefully I won't have any further problems. I've got everything crossed:)
