Interesting stuff. But I dunno about u guys, but the fact that the whole webpage page is based in the middle to the web browser is a little bit weird, why not try to align to the left?

thanks for your reply - imo. aligning left would create too much white space..I designed it to be viewable in all resolutions and easy to read (ie short sentences)

Overall good job. The Centre-align is a good thing. But if you fill the blank sides (i.e. Left and Right White Panels with some other colors) or give a background color so, the left and right stuff will automatically filled up, and when one see it in larger resolutions, it will not give too much white area.

A fluid design would have been better, then you can fit more content on one page, but otherwise, very good

I tend to agree about the whitespace and playing around with different colours, maybe a dark blue background?

The other thing I would try is bringing the top down so there is some clear space to balance the sides. By putting it right at the top it makes the whole thing look too long and thin.

Otherwise it's very clean and clear. Well done.

By the way the Hill and Andersen books are great

Thanks very much fo taking the time to reply - I'll definitely suggest the blue background, moving the site down a fraction to the site owner.

Here are my suggestions:

Extend the blue vertical bar to incorporate the images. Move the Resources for Personal Success to another page. Scrolling down on the first page should be avoided.

Shrink the top section. Change the quote to one line.

Move the navigation to the left side blue bar. It is too crammed.

The white space on the left is a linked image, make the white area of the image thinner. Remove the link from the white space.

You have an alignment issue on the left after the curve. Set the images in the cell or layer to align.

There you go..

Thanks for your input Rhonda - (almost a redesign:-) and Dan
Interesting to see you are a CIW Professional - same here..did the course a few years ago to attain Master Designer Cert (though I still don't consider myself a master).

Dan - I created the design using Fireworks then slicing up the image and inserting it into a table.

I wrote an article recently on the general process on how to achieve this.
Send me an email if you're interested.

I would try and put a border to sorta frame the way it looks. Dont use html frames tho.

Have a lok at http://www.jungle-fever.co.uk/
