It's nice and clean but have all your visitors got really bad eyesight? The text is huge!

I agree with Jaybee.... The text is very large.

At first i thought nice blue bar flashy thing but soon got fed up with that one!

Navigation could perhaps be more focal and the picture section...
I thought the text was big! Perhaps thumbnail the images?

Great start tho keep it up...

well i look at the site as a man past 50 (haha) and you guys are high schoolers so I will see things differently...even at my age, I dont need that huge text so you guys sure dont..lol
I dont like flashy but I think that may be just what you guys want/like - the use of those things (and the scrolling text) should never be rigidly considered. some developers love them some hate then and say "never use them" but the fact of the matter is this: depends upon who the site is for; whats good for a rock band isnt good for a physician. so if you lie it, go for it.

One must scroll down to see your navigation and that is never good...always assume that viewrs will glance at your page 5 seconds and leave..and you have 5 seconds to entice them to stay..nav is your other content so you want them to see it right away. since you are new, i suggest you use a talbe to split you page and get the navigation on the left or right so it is visible.
good start

since gorilla hasn't been around lately, he would say you need doctype!

Um... Just a few friendly suggestions.

Please don't use marquee. Many people don't like it, and I had to wait waaay too long to see the whole message scroll in.

About the big white "hole" in the middle of that page... I clicked nearly everything at the first screen with the blue banner things on top and bottom before I noticed that I can scroll down. It looks like a splash screen. So, can you start the text from the very beginning of the page, thanks...

I have no problem with the text. It's very clear and you can clearly see what is a link, what is a visited link and what is just text or title. Good. But don't use so many exclamation marks!!!!!!

Yeah, you need that.

Bamse
