HA HA HA HA! Evil laugh and all! It's merely offering a helping hand to those in need!

I think you should! Couldn't believe my luck though, he just made me a moderator out of the blue, which was nice to know that people have some respect for you.

Nice guy he is though!

No, helping those in need means you get nothing back:)

His hosting is no good to me at the mo. I need ASP hosts for the majority of my work, and if I want PHP hosting, I use a reliable PHP host myself soooo, yeah

I guess, but anyway, if it was there for the taking. They're giving it away practically anyway. I guess, they do offer ASP hosting, but anyway. I'm happy with what I have now :) and in no way want to influence anyone else's ideas on hosting!

I've moved you back to Darlington anyway! London did sound more exciting! Just waiting for my digital camera to get a pic on my site (not of me BTW, for my portfolio.)

How's you site coming along? Bet you've not had much time for it lately?

And the hosting 'cough, cough' :)

Sure that's what you want? Was thinking maybe a washed out pest control guy, leaning forward over the text. You know the ones I mean? With the full suit and that! Maybe a bit much. Want me to send you the final PSD? Or e-mail you a bigger JPEG? I have it at 600 x 600, Mark

Hi Lori! Dan's "working" on a new "project" to do with SPAM prevention, I'm sure he's got a link to it on his site. If not I have one on mine. He just asked if I'd do him a logo, with reference to most of the other things, I managed to get a free hosting service after I offered to be a moderator at this new forum.

Dan says it's bribery, but I disagree!

Mark

p.s. I use the term "working" loosely as Dan seems to be tied up in a lot of things lately!

No poking:), I get enough of that from the girlfriend lol

Mark is right, it's an "on-the-side" project I'm doing. I don't seem to be getting much done as the clients come first, and that contains one large project (yes I'm still going on the Mr Hobbs one), Two consultation clients, and dealing with potentials, plus other personal things of which require a lot of attention. http://www.giomanach.com/anti-spam - Still needs a lot of work, it a pure CSS layout, no images, no JS:)

Dan

<edit>
The image is for the forums, the only part of the site to contain JavaScript, and user details, the rest. The only pther bit is the contact form.....written in PHP, but thats about it, the rest is HTML/CSS
</edit>

Is Mr Hobbs the limousine/chauffeur guy? I seem to have heard his name before?! It'll be good though once you've finished. I'm off to a 'Prom' tonight, our school's attempt at being American!! Should be good, hopefully... Mark

LOL

No Mr Hobbs is Georgia State Attorney, who specialises in Personal Injury claims. I had to take a site from the mess (to be polite about it), and make it work. I've only been hammering away at it for months now lol. Lori & JB can tell you the mess it was:)

Ha ha, sorry about that one! Oh right, well done then! Anyway I have to go. Oh BTW, do you know of any good PHP calendar scripts? I've found Jax Calendar but am a bit hesitant to use it, it's quite nice though. I just want like a full page calendar, select dates, cell highlighting etc. the people at phpBB haven't done anything like that have they? Mark

Good Lord, I don't know, I'll have a look through my 10MB+ librayr of PHP programs tonight. I wouldn't use the JAX one, has a bad history with me, and nope, the phpBB guys haven't done so yet

There is a template for phpbb that has a calendar. I'll see if I can track it down. You'll probably need to hack it about though as it also has horoscopes, news, weather and all sorts of other bits.

I tend to call them horrorscopes, some of the more recent ones, and quite a few of the older ones that are published in my locla paper are quite scary :)
