Apache Tomcat question - 6/4/2004 9:51:06
My company is having our site re-designed and implementing MySQL and PHP. Recently our designer told us our host would have to support Tomcat. This is the first we've been advised of this and our host says Tomcat isn't cost effective to support. So now we're faced with changing hosts or having our new site re-coded. I was wondering if anyone knew much about Tomcat and what the pros/cons are to using it? Thanks, Heather

Never heard of it. You can use any host that states they have PHP and MySQL installed. I've done a Google Search for you http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=PHP+MySQL+hosting I like the services at http://www.easyasphostig.com They aren't the cheapeast overall, but they do provide what you are after, and the support turn around is about 24 hours Dan
