Hi
why don't google calculate links from my other pages for inbound links to the homepage?
When I do a search for "www.mydomain.com" it only shows a few links from other sites but doesn't count links from other (same site) pages.
The confusing thing is it DOES count "own page links" for a competitor and this site ranks above ours, has google penalized us somehow?
I was told that the above search means nothing but it did used to show these links before so surely it must mean something, especially if its showing these for our competitors!
