ORIGINAL: Giomanach The SMTP server on IIS is a VIRTUAL server, it merely sits and looks pretty. If using IIS, you should really learn ASP along with CDO/CDOSYS to send emails from forms. Dan I understand IIS's limitations as a mail server (no POP, etc.), but I assumed that it could at least serve a simple SMTP message from a form. I did get it to work using my ISP's SMTP server name. If that was the corrrect method all along then I guess I still don't understand ISS's SMTP function. Thanks for your help and suggestions.
