dan you have errors in the css on the index page (didn't look at the others)
check it out in the validator.

Dave, I bought this template from one of the choices on OutFront. Any errors that have nothing to do with what I asked Dan to help me with are not his responsibility! :)

Only thing that scares me is that if there are other errors in the code, I don't know that I'd be able to find them. I'll try, once I get my products and content poured into the pages.

Well done though Dan, glad you've got it all sorted. I'd go for the ear-rings BTW!

Dave

Not my CSS, I just played around with the tables. It would also explain why the links are blue in FF and another color in IE

Images are just placeholder from the template, of which had the same coding errors in, and still does.

My version works
Dan

Dan, should I try to fix those links codes errors before perpetrating them throughout my entire website????????

I knew you'd make a remark sooner or later! :) What do you mean, "you, too"? Are you 18 also?

In any case, very funny! That misspelling of "earrings" came from the original template I bought. :)

Yeah, I'm a bit younger than Dan though, he's "over the hill" whereas I'm nearing the top! I've known him a few months, very good mate and contact to have. Anyway, this thread is getting mighty large...

Good luck with the business.

Mark

Excellent! Fresh ideas, the latest technology and the swiftest minds in the business!

What more could anyone want! No insult intended for those over 18. :):):)

I just looked at the files Dan gave me and they are wonderful! Thank you, Dan!

Dan, the files look magnificent! Thank you very much for all the time you've spent on this project! I hope someone can do the same for you, when you need help!

Sincerely, (lest anyone think I'm joking, which I'm not!)

'Teach' being used loosely, you're just giving me a good kicking from behind really :) but I appreciate it nonetheless. Onward and upward as the saying goes.

HEY... I'm a Northern Lad too, just converted slightly...

Ever tried to say 'Do you pierce ears here' really fast? It makes you sound Geordie!

Say Oliver Close-orf out loud and see how many heads it turns:)

I do a very good Georide accent, and it sounds nothing like my usual voice. I have been told by two Outfroniers that my "accent" is cool.

And yes the term teaching was used loosely, but I am kicking him with a size 10:):)

Your not a northern lad until you can go out a drinking binge and do 4 pints in the first half hour, first one straight down:)

Depends! I'm not sure what that means. I guess I have to say "no". <shrug> I need an "English" dictionary! :)

That would be wonderful! I have a large assortment of gorgeous jewelry. I just have to get it all posted. I have no idea how long that will take me. As I said, web design is not my forte, but I'll plod along.

Dan, it depends on how badly you want me to <ahem> screw up your masterpiece ... hehehehe.

The short answer is Yes, please... pretty please with sugar on top!!!! Because I wouldn't know where to start. Next week or next month or any time on YOUR schedule. pleeeeeeeeeeeeze?

Question! Are "earrings" spelled "ear-rings" in England? Because that's how I got the template, but when I viewed the pages, you had my corrected menu, thank goodness. So, I was wondering where Dave got "ear-rings" from. I may have to add various spellings to my keywords.

Long story short, I'll get it back to you on monday. To be honest, I've had enough for one day. Have done this, three other templates for potentiakls to show what I can offer (you can see one here), and I've sent out nigh on 20 very long emails, and my fingers are starting to go numb:)

And even if it has nothing to do with web sites, you can keep in touch Steph, I could always use a friend to talk to, even though I have hundreds of them......:)

Hi Dave!

Dan has resolved the problem by redesigning the entire site from scratch!

I posted the info in the site critiques forum under the subject of:

"Site Redesign for me by Outfront member - critique please"

How does it look? Please reply in the other forum, because I'm unsure if we can still post in this subject.

Thanks!
Steph
