Hi

I recently downloaded a program called jpilot which is a irc java intreface that allows visitors to goto My Mirc chat. The problem Im having is that in order for it to work I need to ipoad the entire jpilot to the website where I want to have the chat placed thats what I dont understand. Can someone please Help? Question 2 there are a few things I want to have on My website that Id like to give the option for people to download is there a wqay I can give that option on lets say .doc files?

Do you have a link to the place you downloaded the program, and any instructions that might have come with it?

Question 2 there are a few things I want to have on My website that Id like to give the option for people to download is there a wqay I can give that option on lets say .doc files
- Just use a link, and link to the .doc file like you would a normal .html file.

I'll take #2.

Yes, you can make .doc files available for download to your site visitors. First create a _files subdirectory in the root of your web, then (2) zip the .doc files (this makes them downloadable), then (3) copy/paste them to the _files subdirectory. Last step: Make a hyperlink in the usual manner for or each .doc file you want available for download. A hyperlink will look something like this: www.yoursite.com/_files/mydoc1.zip .

You can see a working example where I've offered both Word and PDF formats for download at:
http://www.easleychamber.org/chamber_history.htm - right hand side under the buttons.
