new to dreamweaver - 7/15/2004 13:22:42
hi everyone, i'm using dreamweaver to make a webpage and am wondering how to turn a flash button i've inserted into a dropdown menu so that when i move my mouse over the flash button, all other options drop down and are displayed...please help me ASAP!!

Umm....the simple answer to this is, you don't. Buttons are buttons, not drop down menus. They have been specifically designed to be buttons. You would have to create your own with either SWISH or FLASH. Use the links Lori has given to learn. Dan

Mark is right - you need to insert actionscripting into the .fla file and recompile... frankly, javascript drop down would be simpler if you are not "into" flash
