Advice on getting out. - 7/18/2004 11:56:07
I'll continue to do things for friends but staying a corporation in my state is just costing tooooo muuccchhh. I know I need to notify The IRS and my state Division of Corporations. Is there anything else I'm missing? Thanks! Rich ps: Few less buck at the end of this venture. But I've learned allot. I kept my day job

are you totally quiting your business? I know I found that an LLC (Limited Liability Company) was cheaper to establish ($250.00) than a corp and affords the same protections.

Yea they nickle and dime you to death. The state says I have to have a legal rep registered with them another $150.00 on top of the 250 yearly filing fee. We don't have a state payroll income tax here so that have to get it another way. A city license for $75.00. I know "shut up cry baby"
