Forms Not Working - 7/28/2004 14:28:12
I have a bunch of forms on this site and they're not working. I've checked to make sure that the server extensions are installed and the forms are set up correctly and now I dont' know what to do any ideas would be very helpful.

I drilled down and test submitted your form at 16:45 Eastern on this page : http://www.warnerpacific.edu/publications/_vti_bin/shtml.dll/Advancement/ContactUs/ContactUs.htm and got:
"FrontPage Error. User: please report details to this site's webmaster. Webmaster: please see the server's application event log for more details"
Go to your server logs and let us know what the application event log says for this time then let us know.
BTW, on preview of this message before sending the hyperlink now states: "Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page: "http://www.warnerpacific.edu/publications/Advancement/ContactUs/ContactUs.htm"
Clear to me your FrontPage Extensions have been corrupted and need to be uninstalled/reinstalled.

Hi Ziggyzaz,
Both your File Results:
../../_private/form_results.txt
and Confirmation URL:
../application_confirmation.htm
in your Application form have extra file marks.
Get the red out, republish and see if this takes care of the problem with this form.
I only looked at this form. Always double and triple check your form properties before publishing.
Additionally, to make it simpler to diagnose problems, I like to publish my form, make sure it works and then add the validation to insure the extensions are working properly.
As Larry M. mentioned, the FrontPage error can be a result of extension problems. It can also appear if there are errors in form properties.
