Have you tried using the old includes in the DRW Error FAQ at the top of this forum?

After doing so, it now generates the following:

Description: Syntax error in ORDER BY clause.
Number: -2147217900 (0x80040E14)
Source: Microsoft JET Database Engine

One or more form fields were empty. You should provide default values for all form fields that are used in the query.

Id try it without the ::sort::, with a column name and then with a different name ::ordering:: to see which is successful.
Ive used that method many times before without a problem - so unless its the naming of the column, I dont see why yours should be any different :)
