New Server Headaches - 9/2/2004 14:50:35
Hi, I appreciate any help you can offer.
I've just installed a new Windows 2003 server. I enabled asp, frontpage extensions, transferred the files from my old site and set it as the home directory. Everything looks great till you hit a asp page to display the database results. I get the "Page Not Found" error. Any ideas what I may have set wrong or not at all.
Thanks!

First of all

In Internet Explorer, turn of Friendly Error Page Tools>>Options>>Advanced>>Uncheck Show Friengly HTTP errors

Then browse to the web page and show me the exact content of the error page

Thanks for the response.
This is the error.

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0131'

Disallowed Parent Path

/providerdirectory/shpg/physician/shpgphyname.asp, line 134

The Include file '../../../_fpclass/fpdblib.inc' cannot contain '..' to indicate the parent directory

Can't remember where the setting is, but you need to enable parent directory browsing etc.

Otherwise, try changing the include reference to:

/_fpclass/fpdblib.inc

That should make it look in the web root and then in the _fpclass directory

Thanks! That gave me the clue to fix it.
Once I enabled parent paths it started clicking along.
Appreciate your help.

You change it in MMC under Home Directory/ Configuration / App Options

Thanks Again!
