Hello,

I like the functionality and convenience of developing using FP's extensions (like if you change the name of a page FP updates your links automatically), but I am using a non-FP-compatible server (FP extensions cannot be enabled).

Can you build a site as a normal FP site, then use a third-party FTP program to upload the standard data (pages, images, etc) to the web server?

When developing a web with FP, and using the FP components that need FPSE to work, you must always publish the site via FP

Publishing allows the site to be, for want of a way to put it, "Installed on the server".

If you wish to use the full extent of FrontPage, I would recommend getting a host that allows for FPSE usage. And you've already found one:
