Anyone Know of a good Free ISP Email service? - 9/17/2004 20:32:10
Anyone know of a free ISP email service? My parents, who reside in Denver, have been using Juno. They were just notified that this free service will be going away in a few months. So they are wondering if there is another out there that is reliable (well, reliable as one can be for free!).
I have not used a free email ISP, nor do I know which ones even exist. I could do a google for them but I'm hoping some of you are familar with some that you might recommend.

Free ISP??? They don't exist, if they don't have monthly line rental, then they charge you by the minute. I would get one that has a low cost monthly line rental, than a "free" one

Well, from the overwhelming response it is looking like there just aren't many, or any, around. Juno apparently was one of the last. Too bad to, quite a few people I know have used them for years. I guess it is about time they started charging. For free they were decent. For money, they aren't.

I don't use them myself, but have heard good things about them.
