EDIT: Got it sorted, but can't delete this thread, if a mod wants to that's fine! Sorry for the confusion! Stephen

Hi Celtic Dragon, neat site. My son is a sax player. Pretty good one. Anyhow, back to your question. Headings always add their own paddings and margins, which is why you can't seem to get rid of anything in regards to this right now. Not sure how you would do this, but it should work. I'm used to divs and not tables. In your heading styles put margin: 0px; and padding 0px; Then any styles you wish to add to that section, put them into a td rule. You could create an id for that section if you wish. Here is an example for you. Say I styled my heading, #header { padding: .75em; border: 1px solid #fff; } Then to take care of my h1 that I would have in there I would do this #header h1 { padding: 0px; margin: 0px; } I'm still styling the header, or in your case the td section that the heading is in, but I'm also removing the padding and maring that is in the header section, without removing the way I wish for the heading to look. If this is making any sense to you? You could give that one td section an id of #tdheading and then do the styles that you would like to see, then #tdheading h1 to remove any margins and padding that browsers automatically put into the heading. Hope this helps you out!

Hi CD, Just curious, do you understand what I tried to explain? Also, if you want to pm me the link to the site, my son is comeing in from california on sat night, I know he would love to look at your site. And I'm sure he is anxious to play again now that he is back from Iraq. They did do a bit of band stuff while out there, but nothging like when they are doing gigs. I wish I had some of his playing to send you, he is awsome. And, I'm not saying so because he is my son. He has a great amount of respect within the band community where he lives.
