althera -> problems with background image (9/29/2004 20:27:39)

i am having a problem with background image showing up on web page--
the CSS CODE is correct and the image shows up in the editor ---
i have cleared cache, reloaded page after upload--- and basically done everything i can think of but the dern image simply doesnt show up--
can someone HELP!!
after living thru the four hurricanes that have hit here in florida i probably dont need anymore STRESS right now -- but dang it i sure need a distraction and working on this web page does provide that--
i am sure my brain is mush and the answer to my problem is simple however i just cant figure it out so would REALLY APPRECIATE SOME HELP HERE
