VegasMack -> Please Help With Unix Server Error!!! (10/3/2004 4:49:12)

I just moved a Front Page web to a Unix server from a Windows Server.

I am now getting an error on http://www.missourirealestate.ws/MLS-search.htm

The framed link provided by the IDX company is encrypted but worked fine on the old Windows server. It is: http://www.ozarktrailmls.com/scripts/frame/framing.asp?crypt=%98%9Cd%92%8DU%D5z%7F%82n%80%BC%85%BC%94%C4p%83%5B%88%5Fp%91Z%AA%94%ADv%A4%BC%AA%B2%A3Z%8Djc%8Avrr%89

I even linked the encrypted link from the home page without placing it in a frame and I get the same results so it must have something to do with the new Unix Server setup.

Any assistance would be deeply appreciated.

Mack

Unix servers do not support ASP, you need to either:

1) Carry on using the Windows Host
2) Recode the web to PHP

Unfortunatley it's only Windows Servers that support ASP, Unix Servers support PHP and FPSE

Hi,

The asp pages are on Windows servers and displays properly on http://www.onemissourirealty.com/mls.htm . This IDX link is the Company IDX link and is not encrypted.

It is: http://www.ozarktrailmls.com/scripts/frame/framing.asp?yc=true&p=d:\web\345&acid=345&oid=52&aid=0 and also works when I put it in the www.missourirealestate.ws site. This IDX link has only the Company information though.

Another asp link on Sharons site that works can be seen at http://www.missourirealestate.ws/featured-listings.htm . This page is on a Unix server but has a asp link to a page on Windows server. The actual link within the frame is http://www.goallpro.com/mls/embed/search.asp?AgencyFilter=34 .

It is the encrypted link that is the problem but it has all the Agent information with it so I need to find a solution.

Thanks,

-Mack

ftp://www.ozarktrailmls.com/scripts/frame/framing.asp?crypt=dUznp[_pZvZjcvrr

Does not allow for anon access etc, you will need to rethink the linking. Plus, FP may have altered the links upon publish, it has been known to do so. It will convert some of the coding to spacial characters.

Take another look at the coding and access permissions, and then try
