althera -> a couple minor problems .. need some direction (10/5/2004 15:34:33)

well i have finally gotten the page lookin pretty good-- its not totally finished yet
but at least i have the basic layout and it seems to be working ok

i just have a couple minor questions--

i would like the sidebar link container to be centered-
and have played with margins cant seem to find the right ones
to center it... can someone point me in right dirction?

also my html is not validating- am getting message that says
Line 42

Column 41

Element type "a" must be followed by either attribute specifications, ">" or "/>".

i have searched for the missing > /> but cant seem to find it -
so as much as i hate to ask this will someone check the code
and see if they can find it--

PAGE

CSS

thanks in advance--

You need some spaces in there...

<li id="active"><a href="#" id="current" style="cursor:e-resize">Artistamps</a></li>

Try that

If you are using the W3C's validator, check/tick the "Show Source" box, click the revalidate button & then click whatever line number it says is wrong or causing the issue & it will take you to that line in your source code so you can bug hunt with more precision. You then just look in your own page for that line, makes life much easier. [image]http://ganjataz.com/Forum/images/smiles/grineyes.gif[/image]
