I get to "This page cannot be displayed" and on the address bar, the address I type switches to sth like http:///?%20www.nyt.com. Any idea? Thanks Callie

I'd start with running ad/spyware removal tools like these (both free): AdAware 6: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ Spybot Search and Destroy: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html They will find and remove malware from your system... There are other things that can cause this... but typically a good virus scan and ad/spyware scan will fix it...
