why netscape won't support any of this stuff????? - 2/15/2001 14:40:00
i found some very neat things in Dynamic site and wanted to implement into my website, but they only work in internet explorer but not in netscape....please tell me how to fix this???? also, every time i hit "Preview in Browser" it always displays in netscape, is there anyway i can default it to explorer instead?

There is no way to fix it. That is just how it is. Maybe when they make NN 7 they will get it right. There are many DHTML tricks that do work in NN, you just have to pick them out.You can add IE into your FP editors list. You must have done it to have NN in there. Or you can try running IE and when it asks to be made the default browser then say yes. Hope this helps. ------------------

There are a lot of "tricks" that work in Netxcape and not IE also. They are DIFFERENT - like Ford & Chevy? Is one any better than the other? Ask 10 people and you'll get 10 opinions. Valid HTML works in both - it's the extras that cause us all headaches ------------------
