jaybee: i did the banner in fireworks - is that ok or you can have a layered ps file if you prefer? you want me to email it to you or just post it somewhere?

the pic is just MS clipart/photo - can't remember the restrictions for using those on commercial sites, sorry shoud have checked, but you can probably use some similar stock photo if necessary...

OK, no probs I'll have a play. Found a site recently with loads of completely free pics with no restrictions even for commercial.

Chris see your PMs. Almost done.

When I asked for info all I wanted was male/female, UK or wherever. :)

It was just so that we didn't A) keep referring to you by the wrong gender or B) get confused over times of the day.

Oh, well in that case, all the 2 cents worth I've been throwing around here and there should count for something.:)

Not THAT small an entry fee!

OK

Here

The contract is missing, still on Chris' PC, and the form doesn't work as my host isn't FPSE enabled. Otherwise it's all pretty much done.

Tonight we have the fun & games getting onto Chris' host. :)

Oh and yes, I have comitted a cardinal sin of using a table to hold it all in. Most of it is formatted by css but I figured that I'm not maintaining it so I've given him something familiar.

nice header! actually i like how you've done the buttons - ok i've seen the style before but they fit in well with the site, although the right hand border disappears on hover - that feint grey line would be good to keep the appearance of a button? and a bit of padding on john's story would be nice

Crikey, now he wants me to tweak it as well! :)

Thanks for that feedback, I was going cross-eyed by the time I finished it last night so small things didn't register.

Glad you like the header......... just a little thing I ran up :)

Checked on the photo site and the pic is OK to use.

Seen your byline at the bottom?

[Hey that looks REALLY good...nice work dave and jaybee!!

I'd like to see a narrow stripe of something under the header banner, making it flush with the picture of the girl - maybe just an inspirational little dodad quote, or just a stripe of color (the gold?)

ha! now I know why you wanted to keep it secret - to keep us from offering our opinions! rotfl

Me too. They're familiar, like old friends. I can control them and know exactly what they're going to do and when. And if they're screwey, I know I just have to remove "boder-collapse: collapse" that my old chum FP likes to toss in for kicks.

Too late for now. I've sent the files over to Chris and he's trying to load them to his host. I don't want to confuse him even more than he already is.

Once it's all up and working then I'll play with those suggestions and dump th.... err... I mean.... include them :)

Ahem. Actually I was going to let him load it before posting the link but you blackmailed me into doing it early. :)

YAY!!!! It's up there! Fantastic! Well done Chris.

I'll have a look at the suggestions the others gave when I'm free on Friday. I have a client champing at the bit for his site and have to finish that tomorrow but then I'll ship over the changes (assuming I like them :)).

I'll also go through how you change things without mucking up the styles.
