Query From Dif. Site - 10/11/2004 10:18:37
I have 2 websites. I want to query the database on one site from the other. I have an idea of how it works, but really could use some detailed instructions. Is there a tutorial on this someplace?

It's not possible, as far as I know. You can't query across domains... security issue...

Now, if both sites were hosted on the same server (same box) then you might be able to do it if you're using a DSN-connection and both webs are given permission to access the same DSN?

But I could be wrong on both accounts...

Ideally they would be on the same box (or using SQL server)
