dmbabla -> background image repeating (2/22/2001 16:19:00)

I am doing my company's website in FP 2000 and working on 17 inch monitor with a screen resolution of 800 x 600. When I try to use a graphic as a back ground, it shows fine on 17 inch monitor in both netscape and IE. When I view the same page on a 19 inch monitor with 1024 x 768 resolution, the background starts repeating itself. Is there any way to stop the back ground repeating? I tried using inline and embedded style sheet (HTML coding) but it doesnt work in netscape.
Can someone help me?

See if inserting the following into the head portion of your page gives you the desired effect:

<STYLE TYPE="text/css">
<!--
body { background-image: url('images/????.gif'); background-repeat: no-repeat }
-->
</STYLE>

Be sure to replace the ???? with your graphic file name.

You may need to use the graphic as a table background (static width) if you are wanting it centered. (?)
