Using type in PhotoShop 5.5 - 2/24/2001 13:00:00
For some reason I can no longer specify the type size when using P/Shop 5.5. If I set 28 point for instance what I get is the size of a pin head. Which means I must use 128 point or 240 point -- which is crazy. Anyone with any ideas about correcting this? coredon

I don't believe preferences are not the way to go... it almost sounds as if the image resolution may be way too low. If you trace down to "image size" from images in the menu bar, take a look at the image res: if you're under 72 ppi you may want to adjust. I have found in the past that creating type in PS works proportionately to image size; the smaller the ppi, the smaller the type-regardless of point size. Give that a try and hopefully you'll be on track.
