Frontpage 2003 Password Change - 10/15/2004 17:32:34
Hi everyone,

My name is Brandon and I'm new to the community. Glad to be here. Unfortunately I have to start my first post with a question regarding troubleshooting.

I had to change my website hosting password via their webpage, and I don't know how to change the password in Frontpage 2003 in order to publish to my site?

Can somebody please help me with this?

Thanks,
bobby

When you log onto the server to do your next publish you should get the password dialog box with your old password stored in it...

You should be able to type the new password in and it will be changed...

(BTW, welcome :))

That's very strange...

Have you tried opening it Live from the server to see if it prompts for a password then?

I can upload via FTP in frontpage, but I can't upload the the content i need extensions for, but I get the following message when I try to publish in HTTP/Sharepoint Services (allows extensions).

Notice how it says that I can't upload because the server may not have server extensions installed. I have installed the extensions, have called tech support, they verified they are installed... at this point I'm not really sure what to do. It was working like a week ago, then the next, BAM, I can't upload via HTTP/SP Services. Also, I don't think I can upload from the host site live.
