Frontpage 2000 freezes...error msg when reinstalling re... - 10/16/2004 11:15:58
A couple of days ago, my Frontpage 2000 program started to freeze after I tried to open html pages (in "mywebs" folder ) to edit.
I first tried the 'Repair' feature in the Add/Remove section of Control Panel. Then I reinstalled the program numerous times, both from the Control Panel's Add/Remove and then from the CDRom itself.
Nothing has worked.
All reinstallations gave me the following message: "Unable to access configuration for microsoft personal web server."
Does anyone know what the problem it, and how to correct it???

[I don't have any problems with any other software programs. My PC is a 2.6mhz celeron, 500 ram, 30gig harddrive, Windows XP SP2. I have not installed any new hardware/software recently, but Win XP may have downloaded a new security update; same for my antivirus program.]

Win Xp recently updated the OS.
How do I find FP updates???
