Stackingup is letting me down - 3/10/2001 20:09:00
I purchased the stackingup template with the swish intro. I also bought a copy of swish to edit the intro. It works fine in the swish program but hang up when I copy to the web site. It seems straightforward so I reverted back to the file that came with the template and it hangs. I tried the export, file save, and publish. Thanks for any help

You might try saving the swf. and the swi. files with new names. If that doesn't work, go here http://www.swishzone.com/index.html for information on how to edit swish files.Good luck.

Hi BonnieSwi/Swf?? I'm doing something wrong... what’s the difference. The swish program output a swi file but now that I look at the template there's a color4.swf file hmmm.. The other file is color.swi... Where's the easy to use file :) Here's the save directions: 26. Close the browser and select Publish... from the File Menu . You should now see the Publish Swish Movie dialog. The default name should be "first.html". Change to a folder where you would like to publish your Swish animation and press the Save button. The Publish Swish Movie command will create two files in the folder you selected; start.html and start.swf. Upload these two files to your web server (using FTP or similar) and your Swish movie is now ready to play over the internet. What's the difference between start.html and the first.html... The .swi file is the copy you edit in Swish. That must then be saved as a .swf file. The .swf file is the one you import into FP.The part of the file name that comes before .swi, .swf, or .html can be anything. It is just identifying the name of the movie. For instance...if you made your own Swish movie you might want to name it coolmovie. The .swi file would then look like coolmovie.swi...the .swf file would be coolmovie.swf...and the .html file would then be coolmovie.html. Hope this helps. Sandy

I would File > Import to get it into my web (after deleting the old file), then Publish.Did you double check that the diminsions of the movie were correct in both places of the html? Sandy ------------------ www.alleghenyweb.com
