Live Video Presentations - 3/16/2001 20:26:00
Hi Everyone,

Can you do live video set-ups in MS FrontPage 2000. I need to set up an area in a web site and not sure if this can be done within MS FrontPage 2000. I am brand new to this so please forgive me for very basic questions. I would love to see a web site designed in MS FP 2000 with a live video section if anyone has one.

I will have a cable hook up for these presentations. Thanks in advance for your help.

Cheers

Hi,
I am not going to be much help. My understanding is that you can do it, but I never have. One of the major areas of improvement in the new FrontPage version 2002 due out in a few months is working with video's. You should be able to get a low cost, or no cost beta version most any time. A few posts down you will see a topic titled "video capture cards" posted by andy. The 4th response is someone with a link to their website video showing a 4wd vehicle. I am guessing since they are posting here, they may have done it in front page, You could check it out and e-mail him. Sorry I wasn't able to help more.

If you are talking about "Live" video as opposed to embedded video, this would most likely need to be set up with a web cam program.

Some information here.
