Imported photos too red in Photoshop - 3/28/2001 20:37:00
When I import photos into photoshop they appear extememly red as if that is the only color in the picture except black. I bring the *same* pictures into PhotoDeluxe or other photo manipulation software and it looks closer to normal with a full range of color.Are there certain settings in Photoshop that have become "undone?" Thank you. gail

I can think of two things. One is that you have set the icc profile somehow to an incorrect device. See help about setting profiles. The second option is under view, preview, you have something other than cmyk selected (like magenta).

Only thing I know of to do is delete your photoshop preferences and it'll go back to the day it was brought out of the box.
