Swish/Flash Player Plug-in detection? - 5/16/2001 23:37:00

I have always included a NOEMBED tag to call an image with swish files but have never seen this actually work. I carfully make them the same size, and I always put the swish file in a table like the instructions here at Outfront say to do.

Does anyone know of a script similar to a browser detection script, that could check if the plugin is available and then direct to either a flash or a non-flash intro page depending on whether the plug in is there or not?
