protected subweb - duplicate entries - 11/4/2004 18:39:09
I have a web site created with FP2003. I have a subweb within it that requires a user name and password. This works fine except that you have to enter the username and password twice. The first time you enter the user name and password it comes back and asks for the same thing again. You enter it again and it grants access. This surely isn't how this is supposed to work. The root site is not protected at all. Anonymous browsers have browser access to the root site. This was setup with the normal FP2003 extensions not ASP.

Hi spider, Welcome to Outfront. A lot depends of what type of site it is and how you set your admin settings. How about a link so we can see what kind of site it is. Pesty
