About click spam on paid ads - 11/7/2004 1:56:17
Hi,

It seems that Google and others are having hard time about click spam activities.
I launched this site clickspam.com that talks about spam on paid ads.
Would enjoy receiving experience of fraudulent clicks on your paid ads based on the case described here.

Found good links in the articles section.

Really interesting. Not only has the Internet created a global community, it's also globalized fraud. Too bad.

you got 3 clicks in 24 minutes and you're fighting to the death over it? spare me. Google is right. 3 clicks in 24 minutes could be a window shopper. anyone signing up for ad words needs to understand that it can happen. a competitor could tell a dozen friends " hey click this site 5 or 6 times a day to drive up his costs. how do you really expect google to distinguish between a real click and those. i understand you are upset but, really, 3 lousy clicks - what were you paying per click? it may suck but, to me, it goes with the turf. caveat emptor.

I get more than 3 clicks every 24 minutes on many of my sites - all from one user - each user has a unique Ip address, SPAM bots make 10 click every 30 seconds or so, of not more. I monitor my internal, external and outgoing web links very closely to see how much I really get crawled for by SPAM bots and SE Bots...
