loading graphics from a text link - 6/1/2001 20:05:00
I would like to have a non-animated graphic load into a table by hovering the cursor over a text link and at the same time replace whatever is in the table with the new image, while remaining on the same page as the text link is.(the text link and the table on the same page but seperate from one another)Then when the cursor is moved off of the text link the original graphic or text reappears. Then, when the text link is clicked the page that the graphic represents loads. Maybe it could be called a graphic preview?

Am I wording this right? I can barely understand what I'm trying to say!

I've seen you folks do some amazing things, So I figure you know a way to do this!

Signed... Robert

Yep, looks like that's what I'm looking for!
Something else to learn, Wonder how long this will take...

I really wonder,if I want and need all of this stuff? Are we supposed to get all of the cool, neat things that we see on the web and put'um on our sites or are they just passing fads... put up on the site just cause they (the designers) can?

I mean, aren't the traditional page layout and design techniques valid any longer?

I honestly believe that I've seen old full page magazine ads that would look great as a web page!
Do any of you have any thoughts about this?

This link is the start of the Internet 100 companies. Invest a few hours looking at all or most of them for a few seconds each.

You will notice that the common thread is simplicity and a clean, uncluttered look.
