Guest	frontpage 2002 drawing tool - 6/4/2001 18:58:00 ok I give up how do you use the drawing tool in fp2002? when I have a page open or select text I cant click on get the drawing function, shadow or several others to work. The icons are shown in the toolbar but you cant click on them. I cant draw, use autoshapes or change or add text box please help this is annoying

I've played around a bit with that feature, and can't seem to reproduce your problem. I changed the compatibility to see if that made any difference, which it did not.

Could your provide a few more details on this problem. Has it always been this way, or is the problem intermittent?

Guest	RE: frontpage 2002 drawing tool - 6/5/2001 20:51:00 nancy I just got the upgrade a few days ago and when I bring up the drawing toolbar it I can see the draw, text box, shadow etc.. on the toolbar but you cant click on them. I can click on the insert pic and insert clip art but that is it. (in reply to Guest)

I have to admit that this version is quite new to me also. I have been trying to research this problem, reading the help file etc. and trying different things with the drawing tool, and have not had a problem.

I am wondering if it may have to do with whether a person has Office installed elsewhere, as these may be some shared features. Do you have a version of Office installed? If so, then we are back to square one.

I cant believe that microsoft would not include a new user manual detailing improvements and modifications made to the software and included it with the package. This feature sounds like it would be good for things such as shadowing etc... but I cant get it to work. I have tired using it in current webs that I have already created and new pages as well.If you happen to come up with something let me know. Thanks for your help (in reply to Guest)
