Hi Walrus,

I like it, very neat and simple. About the blue, perhaps just a shade darker might take a bit of the brightness off it?

Took about 30 seconds to load on a 56k dial-up modem.

walrus,

My real estate experience tells me visitors expect identification with the geographical area right away - doubt it is any different across the pond. You can take a look at my real estate site at: www.carolinahomesrealty.com for the way the site leads, in an attempt anyway, to keep visitors interested enough so that they will "drill down" and ultimately inquire. Although CHR is an old frames site, it has been commercially successful going on five years.

I agree with Nicole, a darker blue would make your site look richer and provide better contrast with the attractive gray offset.

don't like the way the properties change to greyscale on mouse over.

I don't mind the greyscale thing, but shouldn't they start out grey and change to colour on mouseover?

Good thought. Here's another (thought, anyway): How about the photos changing, on mouseover, to another of similar genre?
