Mbsaxx

Try to calm down.

Have you tried to re-install the FPSE on the server?

Mary,

How are you uploading your web?

The folder css should be in the root directory and it isn't. I notice from another post you're also having link problems. It sounds like you're doing something wrong with the upload.

I did reinstall FPSE on the server, no luck. I'm uploading from FP by File/publish web/ and overwriting all pages. I recently reinstalled Windows XP and saved the website files to a backup program, then restored them. I guess thats the root of the problem

That may be it... since saving to a backup can break the FP components in the web...

When you open the web with Frontpage now (after restoring the backup) does it show as a web, or just as a directory..?

It does open as a web

Giomanach -> RE: Server error CSS/TEXT.CSS folder (11/20/2004 10:05:12)

Re-apply the FPE components to the web, and re-publish

Problem solved, thanks! Only one thing left to fix, and I'm not sure this belongs in this post, but the header and footer will not appear, just "header.htm" and "footer.htm" (they display properly in my browser preview)
