PhotoDraw - 7/13/2001 18:59:00
This has not been my day. PhotoDraw is a pain, I know that. But for quick and easy stuff it's always been OK. But now it won't export in the standard 216 web colors and it's really starting to get my goat. I've used it since it came out with little or no problems, my stuff is pretty basic. But now when I export to gif or jpeg I get blotches in my colors. This is not nice. I know many of you like PHP (I hate the interface and it has always been difficult for me to master) and PhotoShop. I use PhotoShop for photos but it's way to cumbersome for quick graphics. Any suggestions on what's gone awry with PhotoDraw export?

I use Photodraw. One tip I can offer you is never, ever use the save as wizard. If you go save as and then pick .gif or .jpg from the drop down, and then adjust what you need in the options it will come out a lot cleaner.

I got this tip from About.com so you might be able to search there for the whole scoop.
