Ok, I'm new to PSP and downloaded the Evaulation of it. I really have not designed anything before, so I'm in the dark on most graphical things.

Anyways, what I want to do is to make a simple Circle, and have the background the same size as the circle itself. Make sense?
Here's an example, but not quite:

I do not want this white square background to show, just simply the circle! Is this possible in PSP?

I am not sure how you might have made the graphic, but here's what you can try.

Set your background color to white. Then go to File>Export>GIF optimizer

a window will open for you to make some choices. On the transparency tab click the radio button in front of the one that shows the color sample (which should be showing white, if not change it to white.) If you want to further reduce the number of colors used to make a smaller file size, you can do that on the colors tab.

When you are happy with your choices, go ahead and save it.

This should do the trick to make the white square appear invisible.
