Template .jpg - 8/14/2001 20:20:00
I purchased the template NeutralStore from this website and their are 5 jpg's that I am trying to modify to use for my site. I double click and it says incorrect format. How can I change these? I like the picture but I need to change the wording.

Do you have an editor configured so you can just double click in FP to modify?

There should have been blank images provided that you can open with any graphics program and modify. But in FP, you first have to be sure there is an editor configured to handle the graphics.

Tools>Options>Configure Editors.

I'm not familiar with that template or the graphics involved but if you try editing them directly in a graphics package that might solve the problem. Assuming that:

1 - The files themselves aren't corrupt.

2 - You have a graphics editor such as image composer (comes free with FrontPage 2000 it's on the second cd) that should give you what you need.

in image composer you would do insert|from file and navigate to the file you want to edit.

hope this helps

Mark

PS: In the unlikely event that the problem is the files themselves contact outfront - on the one occasion i had a problem they fell over backwards to help.

I need help too! I have just spent the last two hours trying to figure this out and went in search of the forums for advise. To my surprise someone else is having the same problem on the same template, Neutral Store. I have MS Image Composer loaded from the FP CD. I get an error message that says that jpg is stored in an unsupported format or format variant". Suggestions?

Yes, I am still having the same problem. I do also use Image Composer for my other graphics. Can anyone help?

Okay, so now I have the blank jpg's but I still need more help. I can't figure out how to match the font, color and size like the one in the template so that I can change the text. I want to match the same effect as in the words "Neutral Store Template". I am using Image Composer that came with FP.

I to am getting the message that the file is stored in an unsupported format or format variant. I've tried opening it from FP and through Image Composer. What do I do?

The folks at http://www.wilsha.com and http://www.fp2kthemes.com/ produced that product. Unfortunately, OutFront no longer has access to it. I believe that the Wilsha folks would be happy to help you with this matter, however.
