Where so you keyword research? - 11/25/2004 21:37:14
I have a lot of key terms that I honestly don't think people separate, like overture wants me to believe -- like "baby sun glasses" and I was wondering how many other places there are to look... maybe y'all have some I do not.

Overture

WordTracker

Google Sandbox

That is it for now -- i have to reboot :(

You listed the top 3 in my book, but you could try these:
http://www.webmaster-toolkit.com/keyword-research-tool.shtml
http://www.kwmap.com/ - different
http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/suggestion/
http://www.bruceclay.com/web_terms.htm

Paid ones:
http://www.keywordhounddog.com/
http://wordtracker.com/
http://www.sitecontentanalyzer.com/

Hope this helps

Summer, you are correct. Overture does not always display results correctly. Due to keyword stemming, they may put the results of one keyword in another. For example, web design or web designs. The traffic is only shown under web design. Does that mean no one searches for web designs? No! It means all the traffic for both are combined into one.

Overture also sometimes list phrases that don't quite make sense like "design jose san site web". We know that probably was typed, san jose web site design or san jose website design. Overture puts it in alphabetical order.

:) I was born and raised in LA (lower alabama - - the Florida Panhandle in Destin). When speaking to clients, it is very difficult to stifle!
