Mac browser testing - 12/2/2004 10:07:15
Some of you will know about Browser Cam which creates screen captures of your web pages loaded in any browser, and on any operating system. I have been experimenting with getting two backgound images on a site, when I finally managed it using body and html (with a css hack applied for IE) I could check most pc browser versions, but not mac. So I used Browser Cam on a trial account to see what it looked like. You can see the results here. Bear in mind this is only for looking at the layout, there is no functionality. The hack used was to deal with the IE guillotine bug, where content below the fold (ie. the footer) was not visible and the scroll bar was inactive, or not shown. /* Start hide from IE-Mac \*/
* html #wrapper
{
height: 1%;
}
/* End Hide from IE-Mac */
