I just saw this posted on another board.

Google tries to guess what your searching for in real time.

You may be able to find new keywords and phrases. The results seem to be ordered by search popularity with the search result count listed to the left side.

Pretty slick. I like it. I also like as you see the suggestions it is thinking of you can see how many results it has.

Most of us receive our traffic from many dozens of keyword phrases - often time many hundreds or thousands. If this service would become popular you could find your traffic stunted as Google only shows a handful of terms. Many of those terms may not have occured to the searcher - and so they click them.

If this went mainstream it could drive up SEO services ($$). You have *got* to like that.

I can't see it becoming public as it's always going to be too narrow but it has to be said it is pretty handy all the same - just hope the competition don't pick up on it [;)]

I think Google does most of this stuff just to stay ahead of the game and have others talk about them. It is actually quite useless for me, considering most of the things I search for.

Anyone still talking about the "new" msn search? Didn't think so.
