Hi Summer, Have you got the mother/baby market cornered in your area or what??? lol Nice site, just one really, really picky thing that i guess only other designers will pick up and you probably know about already. It's to do with the banner width on the opening page compared to all the other pages (the ones i looked at), they are slightly different widths i think, meaning a star on the opening page is cut in half, told you it was picky didn't I? The thing you mention about Frontpage putting a break after headers, i'm not quite sure what you mean, and i didn't notice anything on this site that looked like what i thought you meant. I'm currently having trouble with Frontpage creating a break after a Xara Webstyle 4 Nav bar, is that kind of like what you mean? Sorry, no example of my problem to show you as yet to see if it's the same problem you're having. Nicole IE, 1024x768

After the CSS heading tags (h1, h2, etc.) there is a break. I am not sure what you are talking about with the nav bar. I will look at the sizing of the graphic... This wesbite had been up for years, but long story short, my host quit charging my credit card, and I switched hosts, they removed the site and I no longer have access to the files. I had to put this site up in an evening and had limited graphics to remake the site with, so here you have it! I used the DRW to put up a PayPal shopping cart on this one. :)

after block level elements you always get a space by default e.g. after h,p, etc you can use margin:0 after all your h elements and p {margin-top:0;} for para's to get rid of the space between them

Hi summer, I don't know if personal preferences count for much in this multi-million hit world... I vaguely remember your old site, I recognise a lot of the images, and I seem to remember your header image being not so popular. I'm still not a big fan. Anyway, back to my personal preferences. I have been keen to get away from navigation (links) being underlined as e-shoppers are probably now accustomed to navigation being in certain places and I would hope that they could find where there they need to go. I prefer to make the underline appear on hover rather than the opposite. The layout of the pages sit neatly within my IE browser. Google PR of 0/10 otherwise, I would buy from you if I have another one! You have always given that calm sense of reliability which (shopping) parents get reassurance from. That makes it a site that works.

This design is a perfect candidate for tableless xhtml ;) I too am not fond of the header -- how about using a photo of a kiddo on a beach wearing shades... I am sure you can get one from istockphoto :)
