i woul like frontpage2000 to search a group of pages only, i have them in a folder on there own. is it possible to search only these pages????????

Try using a "subweb" and then place all the pages you want searched in the subweb. Files starting with a _ (underscore) is excluded form the FP search.... ie. _somepage.htm will be excluded. Also, I believe anything in the _private directory will not be indexed (hence searched). Of course, you probably would not want to put 90% of your site in _private......
