I have had my artwork on my site for about five years now and have come up in the first page (if not the first spot) until now. The keywords: hand painted photo My URL: www.handpaintedphotography.com I haven't really changed much on my site in over a year. I am working on a new design and I don't want to repeat any mistakes. If I change the image on the home page will that help? I have tried to keep the "What's New" page fairly current, doesn't that count? Should I seed the text on my home page with more of my keywords? I am concerned that it will sound - well, stupid. This is a real challange as this is not a commercial site, but a portfolio of artwork. I would appreciate any suggestions. Don't over seed the page though as it'll come up as spamming. Try doing the pic once a month and monitor the results.
