Navigation bar link - 3/15/2001 20:06:00
I have good experience with navigation bars in FP2000, also including external links. But, is there a way I can tell the external links – in the navigation bar – to open a new window (target="_blank")?

When you create your link, the hyperlink dialog box will have a button towards the bottom, on the right. It is the target for the link.
Click on the little pencil, choose New Window from the dialog box. This will change the link to the target="_blank" you are looking for.

You can also access the hyperlink dialog box by right clicking on the link.

Thank you so much Dixiedi, for you reply but I think I did not make myself clear about my problem: In Navigation VIEW, I right click on a page and select the "External Hyperlink" option. This will take me to the Select Hyperlink dialog box - but there is no button towards the bottom...

When I try to right click on the link (the total navigation bar) i Page View, this would only give me an option to create addition hyperlink.
